Cookies and Cream Bars
My oreo kick continues with these no bake cookies and cream bar treats. Similar to a rice krispies treat, crushed oreos are held together with marshmallows and butter.
The end result is a yummy, chewy, cookies and cream creation.

These bars are easy and fast. No baking required. No stove required. Three ingredients. Three easy steps.
The recipe comes courtesy of Picky Palate. I love trying her recipes because they are usually quick and easy and very creative.

The hardest step is parting with an entire package of oreos. I bought two to make the separation easier.
First you crush the oreos in a food processor. I didn’t want mine to be completely tiny crumbs, so I tried to crush them just for a few seconds so that there were no more big chunks.
Melt marshmallows and butter in the microwave. The marshmallows will poof up quite a bit when you first remove them.
Stir in the crushed oreos and set in a baking pan. Let them cool for a few minutes and you are done. Easiest. Recipe. Ever.
I could barely wait for these cookie bars to settle and cool before digging in. You can view the full recipe here.

I’ve made sure to always have oreos stocked in my cupboard lately.
