5 Minute Nutella Pudding

Three ingredients and about five minutes of your time. That’s all you need for this dessert.

Sometimes inspiration comes at odd moments. DH and I were driving home from dinner and my mind wandered off and suddenly this thought of making a super easy Nutella pudding just appeared in my head. Lucky for me, we had one last ripe avocado sitting at home. Technically it was DH’s avocado, but now that we’re married, his stuff is my stuff right?

As soon as we got home, I made a beeline for the kitchen to try out my newest idea. And success!

I previously made a very easy chocolate pudding that only takes about five minutes. This is the Nutella version. It’s just as good (though not as healthy) and even easier since it has less ingredients.

The key ingredient is a ripe avocado, which gives the Nutella a pudding-like texture. Like the chocolate version, the chocolate does a good job at masking the taste of avocado. I still feel like it is there and you can smell the avocado, so if you really really really hate avocados, you probably won’t like this. But the avocado taste is mild and still goes pleasantly with this easy pudding.

I love how simple and tasty this is. Plus avocados are good for you! You can eat it right away and it’s a light brown color. If you refrigerate it, it turns a dark brown, probably likely from the avocados turning turning dark, but still tastes the same.

Nutella Pudding

Yield: 2

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Nutella
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions:

Blend all ingredients into a blender or food processor until smooth and creamy. It's ready to eat immediately or you can also refrigerate.
