This no-cook eggless Nutella ice cream is so easy to make, stays super creamy, and has a rich Nutella flavor.

If you love Nutella you should make this ice cream. It is sooo good. Plus, it’s so easy to make! Unlike traditional ice cream recipes, you don’t have to cook anything because this Nutella ice cream is eggless. All you do is mix a few simple ingredients together and pour them in the ice cream maker.

I love Nutella, but making ice cream with it wasn’t at the top of my list after I had a not-so-great Nutella ice cream at a dessert shop. So, when I saw a recipe on Handle the Heat it just looked too good to pass up. I was doubtful but figured it was so easy it wouldn’t be a big waste of time if it didn’t turn out.

I’m so glad I tried it because this is the best Nutella ice cream. Easy to make, rich and creamy, and flavored with Nutella.

Flavor

What I love best about this easy ice cream is the flavor. It tastes like you’re dipping your spoon in Nutella, but it’s a cold and creamy ice cream. The Nutella taste is definitely not compromised in this ice cream. But it’s not overwhelming either. It’s just delicious.

Texture

One thing I don’t always like about homemade ice cream is that it has a tendency to turn icy in the freezer. I love my ice cream to have creamy texture and this Nutella ice cream does.

The secret ingredient is vodka! This ice cream recipe has just a bit of vodka mixed in because adding some alcohol to the ice cream mixture keeps it soft. Really soft. In fact, when it’s done churning, it still looks like a melted mess and definitely needs to be frozen to firm up a bit. The best part is that it doesn’t turn icy and maintains its creamy texture.

Ingredients

You only need five ingredients to make this Nutella ice cream:

  • Nutella
  • Granulated sugar
  • Heavy cream
  • Milk
  • Vodka

You don’t need any eggs and you don’t have to cook anything. All you do is mix all of the ingredients and pour them in the ice cream maker.

Once the ice cream is done churning it will be very soft and melty, so you will want to pop it in the refrigerator to firm up. That’s when the vodka makes a big difference – instead of developing ice crystals which gives the ice cream an icy texture, the vodka helps keep the ice cream super creamy.

This recipe makes approximately two servings if you eat ice cream like a disciplined person. I’m not disciplined so this was one big serving for me! I loved this Nutella ice cream so much I know I’ll be making it on repeat and I’ll probably double the recipe when I do.
