One Bowl Chocolate Chip Cookies

Sometimes I’m craving fresh cookies, but the thought of having to use my stand mixer, clean-up, etc, makes me feel too lazy, even though the cookies don’t take that long to make.

So when I came across a one bowl chocolate chip cookie recipe where I don’t even need to use my mixer, I definitely had enough energy to try it out.

Making this recipe actually reminded me a lot of my old college days when I would make cookies without a mixer because I didn’t have one. These came out pretty good. Chewy in the middle, just how I like my cookies. They were a tad too sweet though so I will cut down on the sugar next time. My cookies also didn’t flatten as much as I would have liked. I had to press down on the dough a little before baking.

The cookies look lovely and as someone who hates washing up, I love the idea of the one bowl recipe!

Yeah I hate all the dishes that pile up after I’m done baking. That was why this one was so appealing.

We made them last night. They were so easy. Instead of adding in the chocolate chips I scooped the cookies on the sheet then added cinnamon chips to some, butter scotch to others and chocolate chips to the rest. I didn’t find them sweet at all. The texture was like a cakey sugar cookie.
