Crispy honey sriracha wings, baked with a spicy-sweet sticky glaze, are the perfect party chicken wings.
I love baked wings and coming up with different sauces to dress them with. These honey sriracha wings are my new favorite – they’re crispy and spicy with a hint of sweetness. I think they’re a great snack for parties or game day.
The sriracha sauce brings a lovely red hue to the wings. Sweet honey is added to the glaze to balance out the spice. Overall the taste of the sauce is so good with the crispy chicken wings.
Like most of my other baked wing recipes, the prep time for these is relatively stress-free. The longest time you’ll spend is waiting for these to bake.
Ingredients
- Chicken party wings
- Melted butter
- Honey
- Sriracha sauce
- Low-sodium soy sauce
- Cornstarch
- Water
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place wings in a single layer on the sheet pan and brush them with melted butter.
Bake the chicken wings for 40to 50 minutes or until the skin is thin and crispy. Depending on the size of the wings the baking time will vary, so be sure to check on them.
To make the glaze, combine the honey, sriracha, and soy sauce in a small saucepan. Bring the mixture to a low boil over medium-high heat.
Combine the cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Once the cornstarch is dissolved, pour the mixture into the honey sriracha sauce. Continue to cook the glaze until it thickens.
When the wings are done baking, take them out of the oven and brush them with half of the honey sriracha glaze. Place the pan back in the oven and bake the wings for five to seven minutes.
Take them out again and brush the rest of the glaze over them Transfer the wings to a serving platter or plate and sprinkle the parsley over the top for garnish.
Recipe Tips
Some recipes have you toss the wings in a large bowl with the glaze instead of brushing it on like I do. I think the brushing works better because you get an even coating. Also, tossing the wings can cause the crispy skin to break and even fall off.
Parsley is an easy garnish, but you could also do chopped cilantro or sliced green onions or scallions. I think sprinkling sesame seeds over the wings would work well, too.
I like sriracha but any hot sauce you like will work with this recipe so feel free to experiment.
My brother and his girlfriend were visiting this weekend and hovering around me as I photographed these. Once I finished with my photos, these were completely devoured and they loved the flavor of the sauce. I’ll definitely be making these crispy honey sriracha chicken wings again.

- When wings are crispy, remove from oven and brush tops with glaze, reserving half of the glaze for later. Garnish with parsley if desired.

I made these two nights ago for my little brothers. We all fell in love with the sauce. Since then I’ve made chicken fingers fried, brushed then baked to make them nice and sticky. I also made a rack of oven baked ribs with the sauce. BEST SAUCE EVER.
Aw, that’s so great to hear! I’m so happy that you love the sauce. I love it too!
Oh my goodness – how did you not devour all of these immediately!?!?!
I held everyone off until I took the pictures. then they were gone almost immediately!
Kirbie – This sound wonderful! Do you think this glaze would be good on pork belly? I am currently obsessed!
Hmm, sounds like it would!
The bf is obsessed with these sriracha honey chicken wings from True North in North Park. I’ve never made chicken wings at home before but I think I’ll have to try this recipe, they look super glazed/crspy on the outside!
def give it a try!
