This no churn cookies and cream ice cream is so creamy and simple, you won’t need to use an ice cream maker ever again. And it’s just 3 ingredients!

3 Ingredient Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

Cookies and cream is one of my favorite ice cream flavors, so I am so excited about this recipe. It is smooth, creamy, and as good as store-bought ice cream.  Unlike other no-churn ice cream recipes I’ve tried, it’s not icy – every spoonful is smooth and creamy, with bits of Oreos in every bite. This is life-changing ice cream.

Ingredients

  • Heavy cream
  • Sweetened condensed milk – use full-fat for this recipe. Low-fat sweetened condensed milk will not produce the same result.
  • Crushed Oreo cookies – crush cookies in a food processor or place them in a bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

How to Make It

Whip the cream in a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, or you can use a hand mixer. Whip until the cream holds stiff peaks.

Pour the milk into a large bowl. Fold in the whipped cream with a spatula. Do this slowly, and don’t stir, which will deflate the cream. Use a folding motion.

Carefully fold in the cookie chunks until they are mixed in. Pour the mixture into a 9×5″ loaf pan and smooth the top with the spatula.

Freeze the ice cream overnight or until it’s firm.

Storage Tips

You can store the ice cream in the loaf pan covered with plastic wrap or another freezer-safe container. It will last a few weeks in the freezer. Or, you can store it in ice cream pint containers*.

The most important thing about storing homemade ice cream is keeping it in the coldest part of your refrigerator. This will keep it from forming ice crystals. Ice crystals happen when ice cream partially melts and refreezes, so keep it away from the door.

Fun Ways to Serve It

Cones: Regular ice cream cones or waffle cones are great, but it’s really fun to serve this ice cream in doughnut cones or egg waffle cones.

Cookie bowls: Serve it in chocolate cookie bowls, Nutella brownie bowls, or churro ice cream bowls!

Sandwich cookies: You can use this ice cream to make churro ice cream sandwiches or Nutella chocolate chip cookie sandwiches.

Toppings: Or scoop it into bowls and add some toppings like chocolate syrup and whipped cream.

After tasting this, I’ve decided I’m not taking out my ice cream maker this summer. I might not even buy any ice cream this summer because I’m really excited to make more.
