2 Ingredient Nacho Cheese Bites are a quick and easy party appetizer or snack. Pizza Dough is stuffed with cheese and baked until soft and golden. Each bite oozes with melted cheese!
I get excited for game days, not because I really care about the game, but because I love game day snacks! And there’s no easier snack to make than these nacho cheese bites. You only need two ingredients.
I love nacho cheese dip and pizza rolls, so I thought I’d combine them. So, that’s how I ended up with these.
They are basically pizza ball bites filled with mild spicy cheese. When baked, the cheese melts so that you are met with oozing cheese when you bite into the dough ball.
Ingredients
- Velveeta Mexican cheese
- Refrigerated pizza dough
Note: I like to use Velveeta because it melts really well. You could try other kinds of cheese, like pepper jack cheese, but it may not work as well.
How to Make Cheesy Bites
Slice the cheese into 1/2″ squares.
For the dough, break off pieces to form 1-inch balls. Flatten each ball and place a cheese square in the center.
Pull the dough around the cheese square so it’s encased in the center. Seal the edges, and then smooth the dough into a ball.
Place the stuffed dough balls in a single layer in a 9-inch pie pan or cake pan.
Bake the nacho cheese bites for 20 minutes at 400°F or until the tops are golden. Enjoy them warm from the oven.
Dipping Sauces
They are delicious plain, but I like to pair them with a dipping sauce. Here are some ideas:
- Nacho cheese sauce
- Salsa
- Sour cream
- Guacamole
- Ranch dip
Storage Tips
Store leftover cheese bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They will keep for a few days.
For best results, reheat them in an air fryer or oven.

I like that they are perfect finger food for Super Bowl Sunday. And have elements of super bowl food, spicy nacho sauce plus pizza. Yum.
