Costco October Edition

Sharing my Costco grocery haul from October, including new products, monthly coupon book items, and some of my go-to favorites. I also have a low carb items section towards the end of the post.

C-Weed Snack Seaweed Bugak Chips

A new seaweed product I spotted at my local Costco this month. I love trying different seaweed snacks.

This is a Korean-style seaweed snack and the seaweed is topped with crunchy pieces of glutinous rice. It’s a little on the sweet side. I preferred the savory seaweed crisps I purchased last month, but these were enjoyable as well.
Price: $9.99
Availability: In-store, regional item. Available in San Diego.

Kirkland Organic Raw Honey

This is a great price for organic raw honey and it comes in adorable honey bear bottles. We love using this honey in our oatmeal or acai bowls.

Price: $10.89
Availability: Nationwide in-store and online.

Nutella

Nutella was on sale this month, so of course, I had to stock up. I will be using these to make my Nutella brownies and Nutella Cookies for the holidays.

Price: $11.99
Availability: Nationawide in-store and online.

Haagen Dazs Vanilla Milk Chocolate Almond Bars

We love these ice cream bars. This is another item we always get when it’s in the monthly coupon book. Even when it’s not on sale, the price is better than purchasing this at a regular grocery store.
Price: $11.99
Availability: Nationwide in-store only.

Kind Bars

We love Kind bars, but they are a bit pricey so we like to get them when they are on sale. This Costco pack is a good deal and it was on sale this month too.
Price: $19.49
Availability: Nationwide in-store and online.

Kirkland Raw Tail On Shrimp

I like to buy shrimp on sale whenever possible, but when there are no sales, then I turn to Costco for a lot of my seafood needs. The prices for shrimp and fish fillets are pretty reasonable and good quality.

Price: $15.79
Availability: Nationwide in-store only.

Eat Smart Broccoli Florets

With summer over, the price of produce has gotten pretty high. This time of year I buy a lot of my produce from Costco since their prices stay the same year-round.

Broccoli has been particularly expensive at the markets so the broccoli florets at Costco end up being a great deal.
Price: $4.99
Availability: Nationwide in-store only.

Green Wave Farms Organic Brussels Sprouts

I love eating roasted brussels sprouts but haven’t really seen them on sale, so the Costco price is a pretty fair price, especially since these are also organic.
Price: $5.49
Availability: Nationwide in-store only.

KitchenAid 4-Piece Kitchen Set With Silicone

Not food, but food-related, so I wanted to share. The set comes with 2 mini mitts and 2 pot holders. My mom gave me some pot holders a few months ago which we love using. I like being able to easily grip pots with them. This version adds a silicone grip, which is even nicer. I also like the mini mitts. Standard oven mitts are so bulky, so I’m always looking for less bulky ones. These mini ones still protect my hands but I am able to grip better without all the bulk.

Price: $13.99
Availability: Nationwide in-store and online.

Low Carb Products

Rao’s Homemade Tomato Sauce

This is one of my favorite tomato sauce brands and it happens to be low carb as well. One serving (1/2 cup) has only 4 carbs. Most other brands, even when they have no sugar added, are double that amount.

I also love this tomato sauce because of the flavor. It tastes more like a homemade or restaurant-quality tomato sauce. Normally, one of these jars costs around $9, so I am so excited Costco now offers it and for such a great price. You get two jars for almost the same price of one.
Price: $10.79
Availability: In-store, regional. Available in San Diego.

Safe Catch Ahi Wild Yellowtail Tuna Steaks

We usually buy our canned tuna from Costco, and on a recent trip, we found this Safe Catch one. The low mercury level is what attracted my attention. We haven’t yet opened this so I will have to update this post once I open a can.
Availability: In-store, regional. Available in San Diego.

Nutiva Nurture Vitality Chia Seed

My husband uses chia seeds for his daily overnight oats and we’ve been looking for a new source to buy chia seeds since they no longer seem to carry them at my local Aldi. These ones sold at Costco will definitely last us a while.
Price: $6.99
Availability: Nationwide in-store and online.

BelGioioso Fresh Mozzarella

I’ve mentioned in my previous Costco posts that I buy almost all my cheese products here including their shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese. I also love buying fresh mozzarella here because the quality is pretty good and the price is reasonable.
Price: $7.99
Availability: In-store, regional. Available in San Diego.

That’s all for now! You can read my November Costco haul or check out all of the previous Costco haul posts here.
