Flourless Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

For a while now, I’ve been seeing a Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter* on other blogs. I finally went out and bought some. The verdict? I liked it. The peanut butter flavor is still strong but the dark chocolate adds a nice addition. It’s a bit like eating Reese’s peanut butter cups, but all blended together.

Of course, I immediately had to bake with it. The first thing I wanted to make were flourless chocolate peanut butter cookies. I previously made regular peanut butter flourless cookies and was impressed with the texture and flavor despite the cookies being flourless.

The chocolate version wasn’t as sturdy, and too much pressure made them crumble and break. But they still tasted great. And they are oh so easy to make. One bowl, no mixer needed. Five minutes of prep time and they are ready to go in the oven.

  1. I just *happen* to have a jar of DCD in my kitchen!

  2. oh my word, heaven in a jar!! Did you get yours on Amazon, like the link, or a grocery store around the area?

    • I confess, I was lazy and got it from Amazon. Though I believe they sell it at Ralphs and some other places. I think if you go to their website you can do a search of what stores carry it. I remember seeing Ralphs but I don’t normally shop at Ralphs.

  3. hi kirbie and @Ann P – i found mine from Target. my husband likes it more than i do and i think he finished it off already.

what another great recipe! i’m thinking it’s time to utilize my child labor again, ha ha!

  4. This looks like a great option for people with gluten issues since the PB doesn’t have any gluten in it either. Bookmarking this for my mom 🙂

  5. This looks so yummy! I’ll definitely be making these for my chocolate-loving, gluten free father. Mm, mm good.
