Avocado Ranch Dip

Easy Avocado Ranch Dip made with just two ingredients. This creamy, cold dip is great with chips, crackers, veggie sticks, or French fries. It’s a pretty green color and the ranch flavor pairs perfectly with the avocados.

Another recipe with avocados and this time it combines two loves: avocados and ranch dressing. And the bright green puree is so pretty to look at.

I made it easily in a food processor. I was so happy with how smooth the puree came out. I was reminded of my pre -food processor days when I had to mash my avocados by hand to make guacamole. All that effort. And my food processor does it seamlessly in seconds. I wanted to give my food processor a hug after the dip was done.

2 Ingredient Creamy Avocado Ranch Dip

This dip is super easy to make. Blend some avocados with some prepackaged ranch seasoning and you’re done.

If you don’t have a food processor, you can mash the avocado with the seasoning in a large bowl.

How to Serve It

This is a great dip to go with French fries, tortilla chips, crackers, and vegetables like carrots, broccoli florets, slice cucumbers, sliced bell peppers, and celery.

You can also use it as a sandwich spread or use it with burgers or wraps.

I also like to serve it as a dip for homemade nachos or as a topping for tacos and enchiladas.

Recipe Tips

You will need a packet of Ranch seasoning but you won’t need to use all of it. Because tastes vary, you may want to add more or less of it to your dip. So, start with a little and add more if needed.

This dip doesn’t keep well because the avocado will start to brown. It will still taste good after a day or so, but it may not look very pretty.

This dip is super easy to make. Mix some avocados with some prepackaged ranch seasoning and you're done. Creamy green dip. It works with French fries, chips, crackers, etc.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium ripe avocados straight from refrigerator if possible if you want your dip cold
  • ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  • Blend avocados in food processor until smooth. Sprinkle in dry Ranch seasoning mix. Start with only half a packet. I found the entire packet was too salty. Add more if you desire. Blend with food processor again to mix. Serve immediately.

  1. Hi, this looks super good! Do you think it would be fine to use regular ranch in a bottle instead of the powder? Thanks!

    • Hmm, I’m not quite sure how that would turn out. I don’t know if the regular Ranch dressing would be strong enough once it’s mixed with avocado. Also the dip would be a lot more watery because ranch dress is not as thick as avocado and the bottle version you would likely need to use a lot more to get the flavor in. I’m also not sure how the color would turn out. It should be pretty easy to find the dry mix at your local grocery store though.

  2. looks so awesome with the Robuchon fries

    • The Robuchon method fries were really crunchy and good but needed some sort of seasoning. The avocado ranch dressing was perfect since I didn’t have any seasoning on the fries.
