30 Healthy Recipes for the New Year

This time of year, after all the holiday indulgences, I like to get back on track with some of my favorite healthy recipes. I’ve got so many great options for you to check out like all of my favorite cauliflower recipes, some low-carb keto recipes, a few of my favorite healthy meal prep ideas, and several zucchini-based recipes to help you get on track, too! So, if you’re ready to lighten things up in the new year take a browse through all 30 recipes – I’m sure you’ll find some new ones to try!

Cauliflower Recipes

I love how versatile cauliflower is. Not only can it be used as a meat substitute, but it can be used to make bread, bagels, pizza crust and more. It’s a great way to add more vegetables in your diet and keep recipes low carb.

Honey Garlic Cauliflower

Honey Garlic Baked Cauliflower | One of my favorite cauliflower dishes of all time. Cauliflower is breaded, baked until crispy and coated in an addictive honey garlic sauce.

Roasted Honey Garlic Cauliflower | This dish is similar to the one above but without the panko breading. It’s faster, healthier, less work and still flavorful and tasty.

Garlic Parmesan Cauliflower Rice | This is my favorite rice substitute. It’s so flavorful on its own and it works well with any dish.

Cauliflower Pizza Crust | It’s hard to switch to healthy eating after all the holiday decadence and so this gluten-free crust made with cauliflower is a great way to transition. You can satisfy a pizza craving without all the guilt!

Cheesy Cauliflower Muffins | I’m a snacker and so when I focus on eating healthier, I like to have savory bites on hand to keep me away from the potato chips and other salty snacks. These cute cauliflower muffins are low-carb, gluten-free, and delicious. Or try my cauliflower pizza muffins for a pizza-inspired take on these muffins.

Cauliflower Bread Buns | These bread buns are made with cauliflower and are a great substitute for hamburger buns or sandwich bread. They’re gluten-free and low-carb, too.

Cauliflower Breadsticks | These cheesy breadsticks are made with cauliflower, but you can’t tell! They are super delicious and a great low-carb alternative to regular breadsticks.

Cauliflower Bread | This cauliflower bread is the best cauliflower bread I’ve ever made. It is low carb, gluten free, paleo, and keto. It can be used as toast, sandwich bread, and for any other bread substitution you need.

Cauliflower Bagels | Crusty, chewy, fluffy bagels made with cauliflower! These bagels are low carb, keto, flourless, and gluten-free.

Cauliflower Crusted Grilled Cheese Sandwiches | One of the most popular recipes on my blog. I love a comforting grilled cheese sandwich and this cauliflower crusted grilled cheese sandwich is my favorite way to get my fix without all the carbs.

Low Carb/Keto Recipes

If you follow a low-carb or keto diet you know that bread and other high carb treats are a no-no, so I’ve gathered up all of my keto-friendly recipes for you to try. From breadsticks to biscuits there are quite a few ways to make your favorite bread-based recipes without all the carbs.

Keto Low Carb Mug Bread | In less than 10 minutes you can make this mug bread. You can tear it or slice it just like regular bread and it holds up well as sandwich bread or piece of toast in the morning. All you need is a mug and a microwave!

Keto Breadsticks | These cheesy breadsticks are keto, low carb and gluten-free. They are easy to make and ready in about 30 minutes.
